Yo Blitz, been meaning to let you know of the tightness of the DC cd esp the accoustics strength of this release.
Tracks like "War" with its symphonic/orchestra backing is out of this world. That's some creative stuff you did there and true: shaking eyes and hands won't get no one any freedom.
PS: Let us know how we can get your Road Less Travelled video. I give it 5 mics as it is!
About time I started keeping a weekly journal
of some sort. for those of you who have been checking
back to see whats new with me I've got to apologise
for the slow mo. All said and done I promise to fill yall in on my hustle and I hope y'all share yours with me.
Something crazy happened to me this week that I think is worth mentioning. I turned down a record deal which is probably the hardest thing I've done in quite some time. considering the stale nature of Hip Hop, most people would have jumped at the national exposure the company (no name mentioned) was offering me. But like OnebeLo told me," its real easy to get yourself into a fucked up situation but real difficult to get out. (or something like that). In any case all I can say is follow your heart and if something dont feel right, dont second guess it. I know that this episode has exposed me to the ills of the game, and yes I am jaded. Not because some corporate snake approached me with a fucked up contract, but because of the walking contradictions we have become.
